Takasago rewarded at the French FIFI Awards
We are pleased to announce that TAKASAGO creations were rewarded during the Fragrance Foundation France ceremony (French FIFI Awards) held in Paris (France) on June 8th 2017.
“Mr BURBERRY”, created by TAKASAGO’s perfumer Francis Kurkdjian for BURBERRY won two prestigious awards: “Best Masculine Fragrance of the Year” and “Golden FIFI for creative excellence and coherence”.
Francis Kurkdjian has two sources of inspiration for this creation: the Trench coat and London. The essence opens with aromatic notes, mint, tarragon and lavender. Dihydromyrcenol is a raw material that enhances freshness and masculinity. The spices give a singular dimension to the perfume. The bottom is warm, composed of benzoin, and amber wood. The woody notes attenuate the freshness of the top notes and offer the diffusion.
“KENZO WORLD”, created by TAKASAGO’s perfumer Francis Kurkdjian for KENZO was awarded the FIFI for the best perfume communication of the year.
Avant-gardist, the perfumer-designer Francis Kurkdjian dares the mix of genres, styles, and materials. He decomposes the perfume and gets off the beaten track to bring the classicism out of the flowers, flirting with overdose. This is an unprecedented encounter between peony, jasmine and bright crystals of ambroxan®. An unusual floral bouquet, surprising and addictive. The bottle attracts the eye, between black gum, pink gold and opaline. Mysterious and fascinating, seen from the front or from the top, the eye unfolds in all its stitches ... as shown exuberantly by Spike Jonze's film.
