"Make Music New York," a gala event realized through collaboration with musical designer Beatrice Ardisson, popular singer Emilie Simon and Takasago perfumer Francis Kurkdijian, took place on June 21, 2008 at the French Embassy on Fifth Avenue in New York City. Invitations for the occasion were issued to fashions reporters, celebrities and other members of the chic New York scene. Guests were greeted upon arrival by soap bubbles exuding a champagne fragrance, and were thoroughly enchanted by the music, fragrances created by Francis Kurkdijian manifesting concepts gleaned from the streets of New York and other unique touches.
