Takasago Expands Singapore Facilities and Technical Staff
Takasago has invested 7 Million Singapore dollars to expand its Singapore facilities and technical staff. The expanded production lines, production facilities, and service capabilities are expected to accelerate the growth of Takasago business in the Asian region.
According to Takasago President Yoshinari Niimura, "Our Singapore operations continue to play a crucial role for Takasago in reaching it growth targets in Asia, a region where the demand for Flavors & Fragrances outpaces that in most other parts of the world. Takasago's Asian roots and global scope give it unique perspective on the diverse cultures and ethnic backgrounds of the ASEAN region. This cultural awareness is essential for the creation of Flavors & Fragrances tailored to the preferences of customers."
Singapore's strategic location and business-friendly environment made it the obvious choice for Takasago's headquarters in the ASEAN region.
Since its first move into Singapore with the opening of a Representative Office in 1974, Takasago has steadily expanded its Singapore operations. The company now runs a regional headquarters, R&D Center, and Flavor & Fragrance Production facilities on the island.
