Sustainability Activities
Energy Efficiency Activities
We have been investing in Efficiency Energetic Actions & Green Energy in the last years. Many of these actions have been subsidized by European Union, giving us back around 20% of the cost of each investment.
The most relevant actions done in the last years are:
■ Solar Panels Installation

We installed 394k wp of Solar Panels in different areas of TICSA. We are producing around 10% of total electricity consumption
■ Aeration system revamping

The aeration system based on aeration equipment was revamped to diffuser gratings with air compressors driven by inverters.
Bubbles generated by this new system are smaller, so we improve the process, its capacity, and reduce energy consumption. Reduction of energy consumption is around 35% and treatment capacity increase around 30%.
Community Collaborative Activities.
Third TICSA Equality Plan
We have in force the 3rd gender equality plan. It meets several key objectives. Here are some of the most important objectives:
- Ensure equal treatment and opportunities between women and men in the workplace, eliminating any form of discrimination based on sex.
- Promote pay equality, ensuring that men and women receive the same salary for work of equal value.
- Facilitate the reconciliation of personal, family, and work life, providing measures that allow both sexes to balance their work and family responsibilities.
- Encourage a balanced presence of women and men at all levels of the organization, especially in positions of responsibility.
- Prevent sexual harassment and gender-based harassment in the workplace, establishing clear protocols for detection and action.
- Training for managers on non-discrimination and creation of an inclusive environment.
These objectives aim to create a fairer and more equitable work environment, promoting effective equality between women and men in all aspects of work.
Relationship with local community
We have a very close collaboration with the main universities of Murcia Region. Every year we incorporate university students to have an internship period in our company, in several areas like production, laboratory and others. Besides we have a chair with a local university for collaborating in specific projects.
Our commitment to Community

At TICSA, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. We are proud of collaborate with local associations to support various initiatives that benefit our community.
We collaborate with associations like AFACMUR (an association for children with cancer), CARITAS (an organization that provides food assistance to local people in need), among others.
These collaborations not only help address immediate needs but also foster a sense of solidarity and mutual support within our community.

Also, in times of natural disasters, we step up to provide assistance, and we actively participate in relief efforts by donating supplies and funds to help those affected. Like in the last sever flooding happened in Valencia Spain. We understand the impact such events can have, and we are dedicated to making a positive difference when it needed most.
Together, we can build a stronger, more resilient community.
