3    Sharing Personal data with Third Parties

We do not share any personal data we collect with any third party without prior consent of the data subject or as required by law.
However, personal data may be shared among the affiliates within our group to the extent necessary to achieve all or some of the purposes listed above. These affiliates include companies located outside Japan. 
In addition, we may partly outsource personal data processing to third party providers to the extent necessary to achieve all or some of the purposes listed above. Our third-party providers include the following.  In such cases, we will conclude appropriate agreements with the providers to prohibit them from using personal data for any other purpose.

・    Cloud service providers, customer data management service providers, website development service providers, and other IT service providers
・    Carriers and printing service providers
・    Financial institutions and payment service providers
・    Audit corporations and consultants


4    Lawful Basis

Although most of our partners are business companies, when we perform a contract with you as an individual or take steps at your request prior to entering into such a contract, we will process personal data necessary for such performance or precontractual steps.  This includes the case where you apply for a position with us.

We may process your personal data to pursue legitimate interests of running our business, including when processing personal data for the following purposes:

・    when you visit our manufacturing facilities that are subject to regulations.
・    when we need to verify your identity to allow you to exercise your privacy rights.

Some jurisdictions define “controller” as an entity that determines the purposes and means of personal data processing.
In principle, the controller of your personal data is the company within our group with which you directly deal or interact, unless otherwise provided in a separate privacy notice.

We are committed to protecting the personal data we have collected by taking necessary and appropriate measures in order to prevent any loss, destruction, falsification, leakage, or other such incidents with regard to said personal data.
We are also committed to providing continuous personal data training to employees and to maintaining and improving the personal data management systems necessary to protect personal data.

8    Cross-Border Transfer

Your personal data may be transferred to a country or region outside yours, including the locations of the affiliates belonging to our group, and the locations of our third-party providers. 9    Child Privacy

We will not intentionally collect any personal data of a child under 13 years of age without the consent of the holder of parental responsibility. If you become aware that your child’s personal data has been collected without your consent, please notify us.
