Cooperation with the Miraikan National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation Exhibition
For "It's a Tasty World -- Food Science Now," an event held at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in the trendy Odaiba quarter of Tokyo from November 21, 2009 through March 22, 2010, Takasago cooperated in presenting a display area designed to highlight the flavors of food. At this exhibition, which zeroed in on food issues from the perspective of cutting edge scientific technology, Takasago offered 15 kinds of flavors, such as barbecued meat, ramen, curry, chocolate, crepe and other everyday flavors.
Through this concept, visitors were able to actually sniff these samples and experience the aromas within. This display emphasized flavors that excel in processed foods (items for which considerable time is required between the point of production and actual human consumption) and contribute to "tastiness." Visitors gained a fuller understanding of the profound connections that flavor, hand in hand with taste, possess in bringing out the delectable flavors of foods.
