On November 7, Mr. Michael Breuer, Minister for Federal, European and International Affairs of the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, visited the Takasago head office together with his Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy, Mr. Jens Baganz.

Takasago CEO Niimura gave a welcoming speech, and a presentation describing the general conditions at TEG was given by the company.

Mr. Niimura then spoke about how he saw the company's operations in Germany developing, and opinions were exchanged. Minister Breuer spoke of how Zulpich is geographically the economic center of the EU and of how Germany is an advantageous country for foreign companies to base their operations. Also, he said that in two years corporate taxes are scheduled to be lowered, and that Takasago's further investment would be supported.

Mr. Niimura thanked the visitors and expressed great hopes for support from the NRW state government. Finally, as a symbol of goodwill, gifts were exchanged, and the meeting ended after about one hour in a friendly atmosphere.
