Takasago Singapore receives Friend of the Arts Award for its continued support for LASALLE College of the Arts’ School of Fashion
Takasago is honoured to receive the Friend of the Arts award given out by Singapore’s National Arts Council (NAC). We thank the NAC for highlighting the importance of the arts to create a connected society, a distinctive city, and a creative economy.
Takasago was nominated by LASALLE College of the Arts for our long term commitment to support students at LASALLE’s School of Fashion. This partnership has helped to broaden the perspectives and expressions of local arts and fashion as the students gain another dimension in which they are able to bring their ideas and stories to the table. Year after year, we delight in seeing our collaboration bear fruit at The LASALLE Show, an annual exhibition that showcases graduation works by final year students.
As we continue this partnership, we look forward to seeing how new olfactory developments will impact the local arts and fashion scene through students at LASALLE. We are thrilled to be part of this movement as we believe that arts can and will bring a profound influence to enact social change and build a stronger, more diverse nation.
