Takasago International Corporation has been selected as a model company for the Ministry of the Environment's 2022 Supply Chain Decarbonization Promotion Project. Under the Japanese government's policy of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, this project aims to significantly reduce carbon emissions not only by a single company, but also by the entire supply chain. This summer, four companies, including SoftBank and our company, were selected for this year's program.

The selected companies will spend the next six months studying measures and formulating reduction plans in order to become role models for SC emissions reduction in Japan. The knowledge and expertise gained in the process will be shared and provided to a wide range of companies.

The project will be part of our company's efforts to combat climate change, and is expected to promote activities to decarbonize the industry in the future.
