In March 2016, Takasago joined Sedex (AB membership) to ensure responsible sourcing activities and to collect relevant information from our suppliers.

To continue providing safe and reliable products, Takasago considers procurement of raw materials plays an important role. Declaring "Preserving the environment" in our procurement policy, we prioritize suppliers that focus on environmental and social responsibilities. We value to procure raw materials from renewable sources to the maximum extent possible.

By sharing our vision and scope indicated on Supplier Code of Conduct, we partner suppliers to comply with social norms, sustainability, protect human rights, etc. To ensure an ethical supply chain, we use Sedex to monitor the situation. With keeping a good and mutually beneficial relation with our suppliers, we strive to procure safe and reliable raw materials.
