On December 19, 2011, the Takasago Group obtained global certification for its 17 registered sites (certification number JP11/071135).

Until now, Takasago’s production facilities have worked individually to obtain certification for ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental management systems, and have implemented their environmental programs accordingly.

Environmental regulations have been reinforced all over the world in recent years. To comply, Takasago has set the following target for Phase I of its medium- to long-term EHS strategy, the EHS 100 Plan: “Establish an overarching framework for environmental management underpinned by an environmental management system throughout the global Takasago Group, focusing closely on production systems.” The company is taking concrete steps to achieve this goal.

By establishing an environmental management system customized to our supply chains in the world, we will be able to realize strengthened governance as a corporate group and implement more efficient and effective environmental programs.
