On August 30, 2011, Takasago Guangzhou assisted a poor local primary school ( "人和小学" ) by handing out writing materials to 43 eligible pupils in conjunction with four other companies in the Yonghe Economic Zone (where Takasago Guangzhou is located) and surrounding area.

In return it was awarded a banner of appreciation by the village committee of the village wehre the school is situated.
