Takasago assists the Nagoya City Science Museum

The Nagoya City Science Museum reopened on March 19, 2011, after undergoing renovations. Takasago provided assistance with the fragrances display booth and the enantiomers display booth.

The fragrances display booth exhibits both natural and synthetic fragrances. The natural fragrances include olibanum (frankincense), myrrh, ambergris, and castor. The synthetic fragrances are loaded in a device that emits an odor when you press the button, and you have to guess what it is.

The enantiomers display booth features an explanation and model of an enantiomer, along with samples of the
l- and d-enantiomers of menthol. You can check what each smells like and compare.

Takasago received a letter of appreciation from Nagoya City for its many years of support to the museum.
