Business Inauguration Ceremony Held at Takasago International (Guangzhou)
A ceremony to commemorate the start of manufacturing of powdered flavors at Takasago International (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. was held on April 19.
TIG was established in November 2004 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Takasago International, located in the Yonghe Economic Zone of the Guangzhou Development Zone in Guangdong Province, China. It is expected to be a vital manufacturing base in the "Program G3" three-year medium-term business plan.
Takasago has been concentrating on a comprehensive international strategy that aims to expand production facilities to meet demand in Asia, particularly in China, which has been demonstrating remarkable growth in the last few years. As part of these efforts, we chose to establish a second Chinese flavor factory, following Shanghai Takasago- Union Fragrances & Flavors Co., Ltd., this time in Guangzhou, where many quality food manufacturers are located.
We are manufacturing primarily powdered fragrances and powdered food materials that are being sold to Japanese companies, global food companies, and major domestic food companies in China. At the same time, Takasago is building a well-connected, mutually supportive manufacturing system across the Asian region that includes Japan and Singapore.
We aim to put this new system into action to provide more attentive service to our customers in and around Asia.
