24th IFSCC Congress, Osaka, Japan

The International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) Congress was held in Osaka on October 16-19, 2006.

Takasago produced an exhibit introducing our cutting-edge technologies and products. Over 1,800 participants gathered from 40 countries around the world to consider the theme of "the integration of cosmetics-related sciences and technologies." The opening ceremony on the 16th was attended by Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado, and after the Maison G de Navarre Prize presentation, a performance was given by the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra. The reception at the Rihga Royal Hotel featured cuisine from around the world and a classical concert by participants.

At our exhibition booth Takasago introduced cosmetic material made using asymmetrical synthesis, including candies and toothpaste containing the cooling agent COOLACTR or the heating agent HOTACTR, the moisturizing agent Liquid Crysta CeramideR 2, and the concept fragrance Eau d'AsieR. During the event, close to 200 people visited and were stimulated by the booth.
