The Piver sample catalogues of its products were quite elaborately produced. First, lithographs of the shapes of the perfume bottles and other containers were printed, at actual size. Then the image of each bottle was cut out from the lithograph and glued to a mat; then the actual label for the product wad glued over it. For some products, shading was applied to give a three-dimensional sense of the container.
